In solidarity with women across the continent and diaspora, I affirm that political violence against women is not just a violation, it is a continuation of colonial systems that were never built for us. From the grassroots to parliaments, African women are reclaiming space, voice and power on our own terms. As Afrofeminists, We do not just ask for safety, We demand it as a right born of resistance. Let us affirm: our liberation is political and making politics safe for women is a radical act of healing, justice and sovereignty.
