Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is a serious issue that affects individuals of all genders, ages and backgrounds. It is essential to provide support and resources to help prevent GBV and assist survivors.

This can be caused because of misunderstandings, being violent. Due to misunderstandings in households, both men and women tend to suffer from gender-based violence. In some cases, men tend to suffer emotional distress and they usually commit suicide when they fail to get adequate help in time. In some cases, women also commit suicide. Gender based violence also causes the stress in children when GBV is in matrimonial homes. GBV can also happen in children due to their gender differences in families.
It’s crucial to recognize that, men can be victims of GBV and may face unique barriers to seeking help, leading to increased suicide risk. Women and children are disproportionately affected by GBV, with severe physical and emotional consequences.
More so GBV in matrimonial homes can have a devastating impact on children, causing emotional trauma and long-term psychological damage. Gender differences and societal expectations can lead to GBV against children, perpetuating harmful gender stereotypes.
Conclusively it essential to address GBV comprehensively, providing support services and resources for all victims, regardless of gender. We must work to break down gender stereotypes, promote healthy relationships and create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
